GARY PRICE

We are going through interesting times. The key words are “going through.” It will pass.

The health of you and your family and of course, the wellbeing of our staff is our highest priority.

In response to those specifying for projects and asking about supply, we have experienced little disruption to our supply chain, largely because relatively few items in our offering are of Chinese origin. Even those resources are back in business.

Our suppliers that may have components of their fabrics from China, have all informed us they are well stocked. Locally woven and printed products are not affected at all.

Please keep us informed of your requirements as early as possible to help us help you!

UPDATE: Friday 27 March

Albert Einstein’s observation “that opportunity lies in the middle of crisis” is powerful in its simplicity.

I have always believed that crisis forces creative innovation and this COVID-19 crisis has no equal as a test.

What I had missed in Einstein’s quote is the opportunity is embedded in the “middle” of the crisis. As we move through this pandemic Mother of Invention is a very busy woman at our place!

At Materialised we are developing a Virtual Visit program, which will enable you to still see new product demonstrations and create wonderful mood board concepts whilst working remotely away from your sample library.

And of course, WeaveUp is perfect for searching, creating or adapting printed textures and patterns from anywhere, on nearly any device.

Our New Zealand Design Studio has had to close, but we are not closed for business. Our diligent Kiwi team are on their remote decks to serve our NZ clients seamlessly. We are a phone call away!

Our Aussie Design Studios are open for private appointment, fully sanitised with social distancing measures in place and at your disposal. You can book an appointment here.

All your Project Managers are ready to meet you on Zoom!

Keep well, and maybe take advantage of the isolation to read the books that have been begging for your attention.

Should circumstances change, we will keep you informed.

Gary Price & your friends at Materialised.

      Thank Mike!
We and the team are indeed well!
I trust that is true for you, Marie and the team.

Aussies are good at handling things like this.
It’s our pioneer spirit, or maybe our convict heritage.

If only we could put the media on Valium and deal with the facts calmly!
