Fabric Care Codes
Here you’ll find the Care Codes for each of our fabric types. Regular maintenance and prompt cleaning of stains is recommended and please check the cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area first.
FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THESE CLEANING GUIDELINES MAY VOID YOUR WARRANTY.

MAT 2
CRYPTON LEATHER
· Blot soil gently with a clean dry or damp cloth.
· Wipe the area with a clean damp cloth and mild soap using light circular motions—don’t rub.
· Rinse with clean water and a damp cloth.
· Blot dry with paper towels, then air dry completely. If stains remain, apply a recommended cleaner directly to the spot.
· Wipe gently with a soft cloth using medium pressure and circular motions.
· Rinse with clean water and blot dry.
· Repeat if necessary. Some stains like ink or mustard may be permanent.
MAT 3
OLEFIN UPHOLSTERY
· Blot off liquid soiling.
· Remove bulky matter with a flat blade.
· Brush off/vacuum loose particles.
· Sponge/lightly scrub the stain with water. If further cleaning is needed, apply a soap and water solution.
· Remove the cleaning solution with a clean, soft towel or sponge.
· Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Use a spray bottle and towel to remove remaining moisture.
· Repeat rinsing if needed.
· If removable, wash the fabric in a mild soap and warm water (40°C) solution, and dry in an
environment below 40°C.
· Do not steam press or use electric/gas dryers.
· Air dry naturally.
MAT 4
· Remove hooks if applicable
· Warm wash
· Tumble dry at moderate temperature, ramping down to cool
· Moderate iron
· Dry clean 30
· Possible 3% shrinkage
· Do not wash or dry with any other articles.
MAT 5
LUXURY ESCAPE COLLECTION
POLYESTER BEDSPREADS & BED RUNNERS
· Wash separately at 60°c.
· Do not overload
· Do not bleach
· Tumble dry at moderate temperature, ramping down to cool
· Cool iron max temp 110°c
MAT 6
· Remove hooks if applicable
· Machine wash at max. 30 C, gentle cycle or cold wash
· DO NOT tumble dry or hang dry
· Do not bleach
· Iron medium-low on fabric side only, or iron on low heat reversely
· Dry clean 30
· Possible 3% shrinkage
· Do not wash or dry with any other articles
MAT 7
ROLLER BLIND FABRIC
· Dust regularly
· Do not wash
· Do not dry clean
· Spot clean using mild detergent, clean water and a soft white cloth
· Rinse with clean water and pat dry
· Do not scrub
· Ensure all detergent residue is completely rinsed off
MAT 9
FAUX LEATHER
· Protect from sunlight if product not UV rated, and vacuum regularly
· Blot off liquid soiling
· Remove bulky matter with a flat blade
· Brush off/vacuum loose particles
· Prepare a neutral pH detergent solution (10:450ml) or use pre-prepared Crypton Care Blue
· Gently rub the solution onto the soiled area with a soft white cloth or for textures use a soft brush
· Rinse detergent off with clean water and a soft white cloth & allow to air dry
· For stubborn stains a mild solution of Isopropyl Alcohol may be used – then repeat steps 1-7
· Do not use solvent based cleaners & ensure all detergent residue is completely rinsed off
MAT 11
TEXTILE UPHOLSTERY
· Protect from sunlight if product not UV rated, and vacuum regularly
· Blot off liquid soiling
· Remove bulky matter with a flat blade
· Brush off/vacuum loose particles
· Prepare a neutral pH detergent solution (10:450ml) or use pre-prepared Crypton Care Gold and/or Purple
· Gently rub the solution onto the soiled area with a soft brush
· Rinse detergent off with clean water and a soft white cloth & allow to air dry
· For stubborn stains a mild solution of Isopropyl Alcohol may be used – then repeat steps 1-7
· Do not use solvent based cleaners & ensure all detergent residue is completely rinsed off.
MAT 15
BLOCKOUT CURTAIN
· For best results, hand wash in cool to warm water (max 30°C) using mild detergents.
· Do not spin dry, tumble dry, wring dry, or bleach.
· Avoid excess rubbing and abrasion; remove hooks, rings and trims before cleaning if applicable.
POST WASH CARE:
· Once washing complete, gently pull the product flat immediately to prevent coating from sticking.
· Hang curtains by their hooks if applicable to avoid coated sides touching.
· Drip dry in shade.
STORAGE & MAINTENANCE:
· Store goods at temperatures above 15°C (60°F) for 24 hours prior to processing.
· Gently vacuum regularly with a brush attachment.
· Note that curtains are heavy when wet and may shrink up to 3%.
MAT 90
FAUX LEATHER + BLEACH CLEANABLE
· Protect from sunlight if product not UV rated, and vacuum regularly
· Blot off liquid soiling

MAT 110
