In 2010, Schiavello collaborated with numerous industry leaders who were tasked with the development of FF&E solutions for clients. Through real-time advice and client feedback, the Schiavello Healthcare Day Bed has evolved to cater to the wider healthcare sector.
With every element considered for practicality, each unit can be cleaned thoroughly and easily, as well as moved from one place to another with ease.

The Result
The Day Bed encapsulates the user in comfort and creates a sense of wellbeing for visiting family and friends. Finished in anti-bacterial foam, it doubles as a comfortable lounge chair and a fully functional bed for when visitors spend the night. Two built-in draws provide convenience for personal belongings and are easily removed for cleaning maintenance, reducing the potential for bacteria build up.
The Schiavello Healthcare Day Bed sits on heavy-duty castors with non-marking capabilities and kick-release locks. Meanwhile, the height of the castors allow for easy movement into lifts, making it an ease-of-use product for all facilities within the healthcare sector.
