At Materialised, we’re proud to partner with like-minded companies that share our vision for enhancing interior environments, especially when it comes to retirement design.
One such partnership is with Crown Furniture, specialists in Australian-made, fit-for-purpose furniture for the aged care and retirement living sectors.
At Keyton’s Kingfisher Grove, just 7km from Penrith’s CBD, residents enjoy a thoughtfully planned community that promotes independent living. Surrounded by lush gardens, the modern villas and apartments offer a peaceful yet connected lifestyle.
For this project, Crown Furniture worked closely with Keyton and interior designers from Integrated Design Group to deliver elegant and functional furniture solutions across shared spaces, including the dining area, entertainment zones, lobby, and activity rooms.
Materialised Product
Materialised’s high-performance textiles played a key role in bringing these spaces to life. Our upholstery fabrics, known for their durability, ease of care, and refined aesthetic, were selected to support Crown’s tailored furniture designs, helping to create interiors that are both comfortable and uplifting.
“Furniture is more than just a functional necessity, it’s part of what makes a space feel like home,” says Phillip Lee, Project Consultant for Seniors Living at Crown Furniture. “At Kingfisher Grove, we carefully selected furnishings that reflected the village’s culture of independent living. Materialised’s fabrics allowed us to align comfort with design integrity, enhancing the overall experience for residents.”
The Result
The result is a cohesive and inspired retirement design that balances practical needs with a welcoming, residential feel. Together with Crown Furniture, Materialised is proud to contribute to living environments that support wellbeing, independence and joy in everyday living.
